New Feature: Slack Notifications for Teams

Get pollin8 alerts directly in your team's Slack workspace. Here's how to set it up.

We’re excited to announce Slack integration for pollin8! Now your team can receive alerts directly in your Slack workspace, making it easier than ever to act on engagement opportunities.

Why Slack?

Many of our agency customers already live in Slack. Rather than switching between tools, you can now:

  • Get instant alerts when new posts are found
  • Share opportunities with your team in dedicated channels
  • Discuss engagement strategies without leaving Slack
  • Never miss a high-value post with timely notifications

Setting Up Slack Notifications

Setting up Slack takes just a few minutes:

Step 1: Create a Slack Webhook

  1. Go to your Slack workspace settings
  2. Navigate to Apps → Incoming Webhooks
  3. Click Add New Webhook to Workspace
  4. Choose the channel for pollin8 notifications
  5. Copy the webhook URL

Step 2: Configure in pollin8

  1. Open your connected account in pollin8
  2. Go to Settings → Notifications
  3. Paste your Slack webhook URL
  4. Choose your notification preferences
  5. Send a test notification to verify

Step 3: Choose What to Receive

You can customize which notifications go to Slack:

  • Scan complete: Alert when a scan finishes
  • High-value posts: Only posts above a certain quality threshold
  • Daily digest: Summary of all discoveries for the day
  • Weekly report: Performance summary for the week

Notification Format

Slack notifications include:

  • Number of posts found
  • Top opportunities with quality scores
  • Direct links to view full report in pollin8
  • Quick stats on hashtag performance

Team Workflow Tips

Dedicated Alerts Channel

Create a #pollinate-alerts channel where all notifications land. Team members can:
